  1. Islets isolated from the pancreas of 12 week old female Idd9 congenic (n = 5) and NOD (n = 5) mice using histopaque density gradient and stained for analysis by flow cytometry to identify the major infiltrating leukocyte populations. Staining for CD45 was used to gate on the leukocyte population. Representative of two independent experiments.
