The Cell Biology section considers articles and discovery notes that investigate fundamental cell biological processes. Specific areas of interest include, but are not limited to: autophagy, cell death, cellular and molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration, DNA repair, metabolism, organelles biology, proteolysis and quality control, signal transduction, stem cell biology and technology. It also welcomes reviews, hypotheses, and opinions that provide new ideas, analysis and interpretations on topical aspects of cell biology.
